Used our Furled Leaders fishing in Newfoundland for salmon in June. Stayed at Tuckamore Lodge in Main Brook and had the best guide Jr. (Photo). He was very impressed with my leader system using Loop Lok on the loop-to-loop connection. I landed 5 salmon in 3 days and had over a dozen hookups. 6 foot leaders 7-9 wt. / 9-12 wt. Even caught one on a small dry fly bomber. Change flies quickly and get back into the game!

FerruLube [S] Spey rod Cars wax size L: The epitome of ferrule waxes has arrived for all spey and saltwater rod ferrules! A beautiful turquoise colored wax in a sports car form. Ultra Dry Fly Desiccant
Prototypes of UDD worked extremely well. One study using cool day dry fly floatant on a parachute caddis size 12; I was able to get 6 hookups with one dry fly. After releasing a fish I would wipe fly with a towel and place into the Ultra desiccant container and shake for 10 seconds. The fly comes out perfectly dry and is redressed with floatant! The procedure was repeated 6X with success. The Ultra Dry Fly Desiccant will be launched by the end of July. By far the best desiccant on the market!

On occasion I have come across bamboo fly rods with ultra tight nickel silver ferrules that would get stuck together after fishing. I have created a low viscosity wax formula with micro crystalline waxes and a high quality lubricating oil. Rubbing the UTF wax with fingers on the male ferrules creates a micro wax layer that ensures the ferrules will come apart and not get stuck together! Also the wax content keeps rod blanks straight without rotation! Available today in a 1/2 ounce container.
